I just wrapped my interview with Gianni Brezzo on his new album, Soundscapes Vol. 2 - Music for Balkan Unicorns, and you know the drill - there's always room for some extra special song spotlights in the feed. For starters, I chose "Gospodinov", because of its mesmerising slow build-up and the desert-y psychedelic feel that makes you feel like a walk through the mystic mountains of Strandzha in Bulgaria (google some folklore tales about this place, it's truly something).
The album is Gianni's way of crossing borders, territories and genres and it is a wonderful experience in the fast-paced disposable world we live in.
