The manner in which simplicity is used to create this laidback lo-fi vibe is a feature I find quite charming on this track.
When it comes to the general vibe it's quite easy to also pick up the contrasted between the vocals and the instrumentation... After some time we're introduced to these roaring guitars which hog much of the lime light, whilst the singer delivers her vocals nonchalantly making her appear somewhat aloof. Ultimately, it was the overall progression and constant surprises supplied to us by Girlhouse which took my breath away. This is quite reminiscent to the sounds of Memoryhouse on their 'Soft Hate' album. This is for you if that is the kind of sound which captivates you.
