Girls of the Internet have quickly become one of my favorite recent finds, and their collaboration with Dani Siciliano on "In My Dreams" is among the most comforting in their catalog.
Girls of the Internet is a UK-based collective embracing inclusivity and diversity, and this also shows sonically with their aesthetic is a tasteful blend of various influences. In fact, "In My Dreams" possesses quite a skeletal instrumental, thinly fleshed out by dreamy keys and bright organs. This minimal structure allows for Dani Siciliano's stellar vocals to take center stage and breathe life into the track. Her performance is passionate and uplifting, serving as a marvelous contrast to the calming tones in the melodic portion.
