With singles such as Louie Astro, X O X O, and Djungle... Production duo gishfang have been teasing us about their album Astrofunk. Recently the project dropped and if you're a fan of Moods, FKJ, or The Kount, this is SO for you.
One of the stand out tracks in the project is certainly "Milkywave". Apart from the gorgeous atmosphere plastered all over the mix, we're treated to an EXQUISITE guitar solo that echoes in the distance thanks to the gentle touch to reverb. A curveball is introduced towards the end as the vibe of the track transforms as soon as that flamboyant and bright synth enters the mix to create a new groove.
