The works of Kenyan artist Glamaticus aka (Derrick Shadrack) are generally quite recognisable by the sheer musical lavishness decorated across the stereo field, and on his latest track titled “Rising from the Waters of Nun’ it feels like we’re basking in it.

As I was typing that I released how much of a mouthful the name is, though it feels extremely appropriate since the track supplies us with one hell of an uplifting sensation. It’s the overall progression and the moody strings that lift our spirits towards a sentiment of optimism. I can’t neglect to mention the impressive work on the drums here. They weren’t the main focus at all although if you place a close ear on their movements, you’ll realize that their quite unpredictable. I do wish the track was a bit longer, though that tease is part of the reason this'll be on our rotation for a while.
