Over the past year or so, Hazel Iris has been ensconced in the studio working on her forthcoming album, but before the album drops the classically trained alt-pop artist is sharing a three track EP called 'Golden'.
Speaking about the upcoming project Iris says:
"The EP is a taster of a full-length album to be released later this year. A brief set of movements from a larger modern-day cycle, each piece represents an aspect of California’s varying landscapes in its uniquely golden-glowing light."
As blissful as they come her sound mixes folk, pop and classical sometimes sparse yet fluid, beautiful yet mournful and everything else in between.
