Heaters are back sooner than you’d think. After the release of their first official EP back in October, the Michigan three-piece have released Mean Green, a 7-inch with two brand new tracks including the surf-rock-tinged "Levitate Thigh".

If you're new to Heaters, their sound can be best described as a throwback. Moreso than some of the band’s other work, "Levitate Thigh" shows off their tight handle on melodies (riffs that bring to mind the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s "Kiss Kiss") and rhythm yet manages to maintain the fuzz of teens straight out of their garage. Get ready to ride the waves of “Levitate Thigh” from trot to full sprint into your summer playlist.
