Every Henry Green song feels like a warm hug.

His latest release, "Golden Skans," is no exception. This cover of the 2007 release by the London indie band Klaxons turned the high-energy, rebel-esque original into an ethereal love letter, built upon guitars, keys, and layered, airy vocals.

On his Instagram, Henry shared the story behind it, "I recorded this cover of Golden Skans a couple of years ago, at a time when I was quite low and was convinced I should stop making music. The last time I covered a 2007 indie classic was nearly 14 years ago. I was a teenager recording songs in the evening and uploading them that night. Not overthinking and not for one second thinking anyone would actually listen. But just creating for the joy of creating. That song, and that way of creating, opened up a world of opportunities for me. And I'm so grateful. So it feels fitting that this cover should signal a fresh start. I'm excited to write new music this year, share more, and get back to that place creatively."
