HideMySoul has one of the most consistent discographies I've seen in a while. It's not often I would describe a lo-fi artist as underrated but HideMySoul definitely falls into that category. "Outlands" is a particular gem; a slow jam that glides through the aether with a hazy grace.

Dreamy plucks are layered by a rich bed of chords, lifting the track up through the intro and towards the drums. Vocal cuts play quietly in background, bouncing playfully around the melody to add harmony and rhythm.

The drums have a gentle swing to them, a comfortable swagger that works it's way into the mood of the listener. Calm confidence in a track-sized portion, what more could one want?
