I fell in love with HVOB back in 2015 when a friend showed me their track "The Last Song Ever Written". Their dark, electronic-driven sound is one of the most haunting things I've experienced live and I can't wait to see them again.
Few hours ago, the Austrian duo announced a new label [PIAS] Recordings and ROCCO, their new fourth album which is scheduled for March 15th next year.
Like the previous two HVOB releases, this one also takes a conceptual approach. Following the multimedia-based art project Trialog in 2015, ROCCO relates 13 separate but dramaturgically connected narratives about letting go, farewells and new beginnings.
