French electronic duo il:lo share another mesmerising glimpse into their highly anticipated upcoming studio album, Lucent, arriving in October.

On "Silhouettes", the duo join forces with cello-pop artist Laura Wolf for one of their most intimate pieces to date. Built upon a sparse foundation of melancholic piano and deep, anchoring bass lines, the track allows Wolf’s whispered vocals to emerge with striking, breath-like proximity, transforming an external barrier of isolation into a fragile sanctuary.

“With "Silhouettes" we wanted to create the feeling of being protected and isolated at the same time,” il:lo explains. “The tension in the track is no longer external; it becomes internal and deeply intimate. Laura Wolf’s voice feels almost suspended inside the production, floating through the piano and bass like a soft light moving through blue. It’s a song about closeness, fragility, and the quiet hope that can still exist inside isolation,” the duo share.
