Brisbane-based producer Jack Blom is a rising talent in the Australian underground dance music scene who draws inspiration from iconic luminaries such as Burial, El-B, and Radiohead. Even though the dark influence of Burial can be heard on "Paradise", I absolutely loved the melodic portion of this track as it serves as a bright, hopeful contrast compared to the moody atmosphere. The fast, hard-hard hitting drums paired with the bass rounds up the low end, and that's also one of the key features that makes this experience so gripping.
