JAKSPIN is a German based Hip-Hop and R&B Producer taking inspiration from the masters of soul and groove Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Prince, contemporary hip-hop J Dilla and one of the most consequential bands of all times - KRAFTWERK.
For his latest EP Voyage to Moonchild JAKSPIN decides to challenge himself and create a chillhop lo-fi music piece just within 24 hours, by sampling the intro from the LA jazz band Moonchild's album called Voyager.
"Appartly You Are" begins with a short dialogue - the igniting of a new romance soundtracked by beautiful piano and melodic tones. The EP shows the different stages of this voyage through love and quite surely ends with "It's Over".
