You Wanted This

Jodie Nicholson takes us through a poignant emotional roller coaster on her TEED inspired new single "You Wanted This".

This is my first time acquainted with the enchanting work of this UK-based producer and songwriter. On "You Wanted This", she eavesdrops into the inner dialogue of most musicians as she reflects upon the complex love-hate relationship that comes with being an artist throughout her songwriting. The production here begins in a minimal fashion, thus shining a light brighter on her vocals. Towards the later stages, the track comes to life with beefy drums and glossy synth works. Distant, reverb-coated guitars also accentuate the atmospheric allure in the climax and this is definitely bound to immerse you into the experience.
