We've been following Joya Mooi's artistry for a while now and know that she often finds inspiration in social and political topics that are important to her. This time, her newest track is inspired by Olympic diver Greg Louganis, who found sanctuary in water amid the stigma surrounding HIV and was one of the first athletes to openly talk about the challenges of living with the disease.
Apart from falling in love with this track within the first few seconds and wanting to start dancing in my living room, its story left me even more inspired as I admit I had not heard of Mr Louganis' story before. Thank you, Joya and Lady Donli, for being brave and giving a voice to the important things.
