So wonderful to have Kaiya back on our label. One of the coolest/funny people out there, we had the pleasure of meeting the Turkish-Australian singer in London last year and she's been putting out nothing, but liquid r&b fire.
The brand new release, which we dropped today is called "Waiting (Again & Again) " and I guess it would come handy on the day before many (but not all) celebrate the reality of love, with its ups and downs. "I was intentional about making the song feel like a soft, intoxicating romance at the start and then letting reality hit the moment the first pre-chorus drops with the drums", she elaborates.
Written alongside talented producer J.A.R.J., the track has this inheritent groove that will make you bounce. A real bop that blends r&b, neo-soul, and alt-pop into a hypnotic & smooth listening experience.
