When I heard this I actually thought of DJ Khaled. There are SO MANY major keys littered within Kalay’s lyrics which have the potential to change how you move.
Apart from the lyrics, we just gotta applaud for the vocal delivery on “Social Media”. Kalay vocals cut through and grab our attention with his clarity and authority. The instrumental essentially gives him that space as it is minimalistic, thus making it easier to hear his message. Kalay share’s his opinions on how people tend to use social media and furthermore, he explores the ways we can use it to our benefit.
The instrumental and the vocal delivery give “Social Media” that spirit while the message within the lyrics gives someone the opportunity to change an aspect of their life.
