I wouldn't know either if my friend Pieral didn't include it in one of his mix.
I see you coming... You might think that Komono* is one of those kawaii student/dj hailing from Tokyo, Japan. Turns out, Komono* is actually from Seattle, USA. His music might remind you of Canadian DJ Ryan Hemsworth - who is a solid fan of Pokemon as well.
