Just from the beginning, I was quite fixed on the notion that this is just another smooth Soul track... Hmmm by the time I reached the end - I was left utterly astounded.
On "Scattered Thoughts", Kos Mos has created a magical listening experience that feels like a roller coaster ride. The musical arrangements are so unorthodox and unpredictable that you'll probably want to play it again just to confirm the instrumental splendor that you've just heard. I take my hat to the bassist as those bass lines were ridiculously sexy and also to the guitarist by virtue of the soft and hard variations.
Through the madness I felt as if the vocals were extremely comforting and lyrically, "Scattered Thoughts" explores the difficulty of being present in the moment and feeling detached from your surroundings.
