I am completely wrecked after a few really busy days. I think my body is on the brink of collapse and I was not going to feature any music, but the sound and the lyrical depth of the song didn't give me any other option. Honestly, it is so good and captivating, I am shivering.
KYENORD is a dream pop band formed of two musicians coming from different worlds - Mohamed Tarek (Egypt) and Linn Östlund (Sweden). The band released its debut EP mellow drama last month and this feature is release's opening track.
"5 Am" reaches straight for your soul in those corners where you've suppressed all those dark memories and feelings you need to keep away. There's this feeling of crippling anxiety pouring out of this track and while it may sound weird, it is so addictive.
