We've been a bit quiet for the past few days, but I think we need to kick off Monday right. I have this Monday morning routine of opening Spotify and checking out my Discover Weekly to see if any goodness has crept in.
This time it was Laura Mvula and Slowz, who gave a new spin to a classic "Ready or Not". While Laura's version of the track is very groovy and poppy, I feel like with Slowz in the equation it becomes a bit closer to the original track by The Fugees simply by its vibe. Piano, Laura's vocals and mellow production is a killer combo!
This is your Monday soundtrack to ease into the week and fight the weekend blues. Definitely helped me.
