The phrase "lilac frog" really gets to you, doesn't it? Wait until you hear what this peculiar producer created.
Harri Hocking, a British artist who's ghost-produced for many other acts before, used this new moniker to embark on a journey through the various sides of electronica, and "Vividity" is the first official release of his own music.
The perfect way to start this new chapter, "Vividity" is both really uplifting and gentle, energising and cinematic - an effortless balance between ambient/downtempo & progressive electronica. He elaborates:
I wanted it to be something that was accessible and easy to listen to for anybody new. It encompasses elements from all kinds of genres, ranging from pop, cinematic, liquid drum-and-bass, downtempo, house, and perhaps even garage to some extent. Overall however, the song is almost genreless as a piece, and is more like a showcase that begins to show lilac frog's versatility and the unique sound that builds up my music.
Hope you enjoy this honest reflection of lilac frog's inner world.
