The amalgamation of various genres along with the luminous synths emblazoned throughout "Catnip" gives the track quite a psychedelic edge to it.

The stellar intro hints at this as we're welcome to the sounds of a soothing, lush pad hanging over the backdrop as the lead cuts through the mix. As soon as the drums kick in, so does the gentle groove and this is paired with funk-inspired guitar arrangements. The trumpet certainly steals the limelight in the track, it also exhibits Lo.P's talents on a variety of different instruments.
