Our dear beatmaker Low Heat is back with his 9th project on Stereofox - the Afterhours Drive EP.
Inspired by the stillness of nighttime cruising and the soft pulse of city lights, the project captures that feeling of motion without destination – when the road stretches endlessly ahead and the mind starts to wander.
He shares, "Afterhours EP is a soundtrack for night drives along endless, peaceful roads – slightly hypnotic and chill, but also energetic and uplifting. It’s not your typical background music; more of a blend between West Coast vibes and an electronic sound inspired by technology."
The 5-track installment continues to follow his signature sound aesthetic with synth-heavy grooves, crisp drums, vocal samples, and warm textures - a style that sits somewhere between nostalgic, chill, and futuristic.
