Whoever is selecting the tracks to arise from Mac Miller's vault is doing a great job! His latest release, "Butterflies" tastefully hits the sweet spot between playful and heartfelt.

Thanks to the subject matter, the instrumentation, and especially the cover art, "Butterflies" sounds like something we'd hear on Mac Miller's 6th studio album The Divine Feminine. Interestingly enough, I just went to Spotify to check the cover art again as I'm writing this - and it turns out that this release is part of the 10th Anniversary edition of the album. I know Mac's music pretty well it seems. Absolutely loved the crunchy drums on this along with the glittery, polished keys that balance the raw aesthetic we're welcome to. Mac's vocals are the feature that breathe life into the track, floating effortlessly above the production and adding a layer of warmth.

This is the first gem to arrive from the 10th Anniversary edition of the album, and the full version comes out on October 2nd!
