Eric Makapugay and Kristoffer Ruaro are cousins who have been sharing their passion for music from Memphis, TN, since 2019. Eric takes the producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist role, and Kristoffer is all that, but also we can hear his voice behind the mic. They form Mak Ro and fuse r&b, pop, and soul tunes with 15 releases so far, and "Good" is one of the smoothest.
The Filipino-American duo sends the message of leaving the past behind while holding the present close without overthinking what is coming next. "Good" is that uplifting track with a hook to remember as it goes “keep me at the moment/cause for the moment I’m alright."
