Merunisa's art is a beautiful melting pot of emotions, cultures and experiences that needs to be on your radar. Channelling her Tanzanian, Portuguese and Yemeni roots, the North London-based artist is carving her own lane in today's thriving UK r&b scene thanks to her latest single called "He Ain't Mine". A dark r&b song about normalising that stage of life where all you want is just to have romantic casual relationships and nothing more complicated.

I love the delicate balance between the hard hitting beat and the range of her vocals that switch from rapping to melodic lullaby in a split second. All that, backdropped against a rather space-y synths in the background, the song is a universe ready to suck you in. Absolutely staggering.
