Something that grabbed my attention about "Slow Down" is the paradox between the forlorn mood of the track, and the romantic lyricism accompanying the vibe.

Geier's vocal performance is elegantly hushed, to the point where it feels like a comforting lullaby. Although there is still this somewhat dark and seductive veil behind her delivery, and this ambiguity seamlessly lures the attention of the listener and tempts us to cling to her every word.
