Something that immediately caught my attention on here is how Mini Trees (aka Lexi Vega) voice sounds so youthful, but delivered in a manner that is so mature and bold.

When it comes to the song writing, Lexi isn't afraid of putting it all on the table emotionally and that pretty much accentuates the raw lyricism. The arrival of the lush guitars in the chorus sent the track into a somewhat hazy direction, ultimately giving "Want Me To Stay"

"Want Me To Stay" is a song about trying to move on from an unrequited love, but realizing it still has a hold on you.
