Blending groovy foley percussion and mystical atmospheric synth sounds, "Sparked" my Mirorrish offers a surreal sonic experience through the realms of ambient electronica.

Maryland multi-instrumentalist and producer Mirrorish has teamed up with young Bulgarian photographer Antonia Avramova a.k.a Cold Desert for the latest installment on Sound in Picture. The platform brings together producers and photographers in a unique collaboration where sound is expressed through photography and vice-versa. Each installment tells a story that pleases both the visual and auditory senses, celebrating beauty and artistic freedom. The collaboration between Mirrorish and Cold Desert is no exception.

Bright arpeggiated melodies meld with varied foley grooves, while the depth of the atmospheric soundscape takes you on a journey to an unknown destination. You're then left in a middle of a remote field full of colors and mellow textures, visually represented by Antonia's images. She elaborates:

"At first, I started experimenting with colors and forms withоut any specific idea, just to please my eye. Then, I found double exposure and collage making, which became a preferable way of editing my shots. My creative process is usually accompanied by music, which inspires a specific atmosphere in my visuals."
