Moses Sumney's "Everlasting Sigh" has an uplifting sound to it, reminding me of Paul Simon vibes circa Graceland. With his incredible vocal range, melodies, looping and an insanely catchy hand clapping beat, he is able to take us on a beautiful and fun ride.

Sumney has created a unique sound of his own, using many layers of different arrangements and looping his sounds. Growing up between Ghana and Southern California during his teen years, he eventually re-located back to Los Angeles. He states his sound as a mixture of soul and folk; I think he's on to something.

After releasing a 7" from Terrible Records, Sumney will hopefully be releasing some more music soon. Buy his single here.
