After a busy year of performing, the Berlin-based Moses Yoofee Trio return to releasing music with their double single “NOTHING TO LOSE”, featuring singer-songwriter Mulay, alongside “INNER CIRCLES”. The release marks the countdown to their upcoming six-track EP, Chasing Light, out May 29th.
A standout addition to our New Music Finds playlist this week, especially for our contemporary/nu jazz lovers, "NOTHING TO LOSE" blends tight drum grooves, a beefy bassline, and glitchy, almost futuristic textures. The kind of explosive track you'll want to groove to all weekend.
That one must sound especially good on vinyl, too. Good news, the EP will be available in that format and is already up for pre-order.
