This is the case with Motif Alumni, a GRAMMY-winning producer who's worked with names ranging from Madlib to Jermaine Dupri. However, today, we see the New Yorker in a different light, showcasing his majestic voice, too - and the result is called Memoirs Of Love, his third solo album.
If you're fans of Thee Sacred Souls, this will be an instant fav. The 9-track record offers an insight into Motif's inner world and offers an experience closer to reading a diary. Drawing influences from the golden soul era, the project drips with warmth & honesty. My personal pick would be "Cry For You" because of his delicate falsetto and the utterly soothing keys. But to be fair, the whole Memoirs Of Love is an absolute bliss - make sure to check it in full.
