Mount Alaska are one of those bands where I just can't wrap my head around the fact that they are not more popular.

I have discovered them in Dublin when they were supporting my all-time favourite Christian Löffler and hell, I was not disappointed. "Asterisk" is a prime example of what their music is like, add some crafty visuals and you have a set from heavens.

They have just released their debut album Wave Atlas: Season One and it's the ultimate chill pill, but "Asterisk" is something to get you in the mood for the weekend.
