I can imagine there's something liberating about artist anonymity, when the names disappear, and all that’s left is feeling. While this is not a novelty and msgme aren't the first people whose identity is shrouded in anonymity, I feel a special connection to this project.

Now. I am fully aware we live in the day and age where listeners are becoming more and more vigilant (as they should) about the artist identity in order to catch the overflood of AI music, but I can vouch for msgme - there's true art behind the moniker.

Built for movement and late-night release, msgme leans into an uptempo, dance floor–driven space — somewhere between the emotional lift of Barry Can't Swim, the textural playfulness of Daphni, and the euphoric pulse of Overmono. It’s a project rooted in rhythm and momentum, but with the kind of warmth that keeps it human. Today we celebrate their debut single, "RIDE", and that was certainly my power-up wake-up this morning.

This is only the beginning, with a full EP set to roll out over the coming months.
