On this release, he has brought together two names whose names send shockwaves across the underground as both have carved out distinctive lanes for themselves. Deante' Hitchcock's vulnerable and heartfelt lyricism is heightened by theMinds' soulful, dream-like vocal performance that actually feels otherworldly when harmonies are introduced. The cries of the sax echoing in the background add a musically opulent touch to the release, along with the glistening, emotionally charged piano arrangements.
