The collaboration series between Nas and Hit-Boy undoubtedly stands out as the most exciting rapper-producer combo in hip-hop at the moment. And recently, we were treated to Magic 3, the newest body of work from this dynamic pair.

For those that are out of the loop, hip-hop legend Nas has been on an impressive release run. Since 2020 he's released 6 albums, all of which have been produced by multi-platinum producer Hit-Boy (known for producing tracks like "Ni**as In Paris"). One of the most memorable lines from Hit-Boy is when he claimed, "I'm the best student Kanye ever had," and throughout Magic 3 this becomes evident.

On "Speechless, Pt. 2" Hit-Boy flips a soul sample that's brimming with a sense of hope, and this is accompanied by sublime verses from Nas who details his recent successes. This is definitely one of the more laid-back cuts on the album, and if you'd like to hear more feel free to dive in below:
