“I used to be the same until I tapped the right endorphins” – ahhh that was one of the many lines I loved from “Palo Santo”, the latest track by UK rapper Nathside.
It’s not only about Nathside’s lyricism that perked my attention, but his vocal delivery is the kind that commands attention and frankly difficult to ignore. He brings a drill attitude to a genre such as lofi hip hop, and this contrast of a chilled beat paired with a ferocious delivery makes the all the more extravagant.
