One of the most talked-about releases from last week is the new Dahi album Black Boy (Alternative), and one standout moments is "How To Pray" with Kendrick Lamar and Amber Mark.
I first came across Dahi from one of the first singles, and since then this rollout has been such a pleasure to watch. What I loved about "How To Pray" is the interplay between Amber Mark and Kendrick's vocals - they're harmonious and bring the message of the track to life even further. Dahi's production is fluid in the sense that melodically, it flows beautifully, plus he pulls from a variety of different so much so that we can't really even call this hip hop. In the lyrics and in the visuals, the subject of highlighting the hidden connection between things is brought to light, especially during the second verse.
