To conclude his much anticipated Gradients EP via Stereofox, Neptune Orizon unveils "Close To Love", a soothing track carried by a soft, romantic atmosphere.
Across three tracks, Neptune Orizon showcases the various parts of his sonic identity, taking us through UK garage, chillout, and downtempo/electronica. This is all tied together by a neo-classical undertone that gives Gradients EP a musically opulent appeal. The glistening pianos on "Close To Love" is a prime example of this sentiment, especially since they lead the track's melodic progression and heighten the emotive impact of the vocals. It's really the vocals however that ultimately breathe life into the track with their soothing presence and heartfelt lyrics.
Florian elaborates, "Gradients blurs the lines and reveal the nuance everywhere. For me, the EP is about memories, or how I experience them".
