The new joint between producers ØDYSSEE & Gatz2Gatz opens with a beautiful guitar and the sound of birds, unfolding slowly like the sun coming up on the horizon in the morning. I felt as if I were opening the curtains in the early hours, taking in the light and the vivid colours of the sunrise (on the very rare occasion I wake up that early).
The soulful guitars carry a feeling of warmth and gratitude to me, while the almost magical, glittery, and flute textures float around, adding to the beauty of the track. I also have a weakness for smooth basslines, and this one is definitely up there.
"Celeno" will not only set your day off to a good start, but it will suit any time of your day just as well, so go ahead and add it to your chillhop rotation.
