Earlier this year, we highlighted Ourson as one of our 20 Rising Electronic Artists of 2025, and ever since, he’s been steadily proving why he belongs on that list. Today marks the release of his new album, Vast Unknown (released via Beyond Records), and it’s exactly what the title promises - an immersive, explorative journey through uncharted sonic terrain. It’s one of those rare records that instantly feels personal yet expansive, like you’re stepping into something both intimate and limitless.

I chose to spotlight the synth-heavy, yet spacious and calming "Nocturne" because it perfectly matches the situation I'm in right now - it's 7 AM and I'm enjoying the sun and a cup of coffee on the balcony while watching the world slowly waking up.
