Paris Green's newest release under Needwant Nine for IX beautifully showcases his ability to tap into various realms of electronic music and do so with an emotive flair.
With remixes from Roni Size, Baltra, and Jacana People, I'm a bit astonished that this is my first time acquainted with the work of this UK-based producer. The closing track, "Other", on Nine for IX is embellished with glittery arps and melodies that you'll seamlessly hook onto. Paired with the airy pads hovering in the backdrop, "Other" provides a sense of escapism thanks to its immersive charm and gripping progression.
