I'm content today. We get to host something really lush on our own label - PELLI's second EP, Blossom Trees. Across four tracks, the experience unfolds slowly and intentionally, and rather than chasing immediacy, it focuses on space, detail, and sonic depth – music designed to be lived in rather than consumed quickly.
"My second EP builds on the foundations of the first. The sound is broader and more considered, while staying within an alternative electronic space. The EP places a strong emphasis on considered sounds aimed at listeners who pay attention to texture, space, and fidelity," he shared with us when sending the EP.
I decided to spotlight my favourite tracks from the EP, "Dreaming". What struck me the most was the perfect balance between laid-back and nostalgic. The whole thing is a perfect blend of chilled electronic psychedelia, downtempo, and ambient, designed with the sole purpose of helping you ease out. Life is stressful enough as it is, and bits like this sonic experience crafted by PELLI are a reason to be thankful.
