Richmond-based hip hop artist Peter $un is passionate about expressing love and individuality through his diverse musical style. Today's feel-good cruise soundtrack is a track taken from his 2018's Don't Forget To Smile album. Besides a flawless delivery from Peter, Trip Carter & KnottRudy, expect a lot of funky grooves and trippy soul elements engraved in the beat.
After finding this track, I went on and dove into his other LPs - .Beautiful Piece of Shit (2017) and Scumbaby (2021) and let me tell you - there are some cool gems on there. Hip hop aside, Peter crafts a unique blend of rap, jazz, electronica, and psychedelia.
