I hope I'm not the only one who gets a Jordan Rakei vibe from this experience. Raquel Martins' latest single seamlessly blends a range of genres and moods to make up her latest creation "Mountains".

They say that music is subject, but this is undeniably and objectively GREAT music. The synths are warm and inviting, and the soul emanating from Raquel's emotive delivery is beautifully complimented by the presence of brass arrangements. I can't neglect to mention the Latin-inspired drum grooves as they work so well with the latent jazz influence and compel us to slowly swing side to side.

Since releasing her debut EP in 2021, Raquel Martins has made an impact on the UK music landscape with her blend of Latin-infused alt-soul.
