Born and raised in Camden, Rawda is a jazz and soul-influenced artist who takes inspiration from her Palestinian and Afghan roots to craft her compelling art. Something I found fascinating about how she approached the creation of this track, is the fact that real-world found sounds were incorporated as percussion, giving the mix a refreshing depth and groove that locks in so well with the sleek bass line. Her vocals are like a feather carried by the wind as they're so light and dreamy - a contrast to all of the vibrant embellishments here.
