The track explores "the aftermath of a friendship that once meant a lot, exploring the uncertainty, unanswered questions, and lingering emotions that can follow when a meaningful relationship comes to an end," including how the other person might feel, too.
Sonically, though, the song carries warm acoustic guitars, lighthearted vocals, and live percussion that tastefully balance out the deep topic and the emotive strings. Falling somewhere between neo-soul, r&b, and alt pop, "feel" will certainly strike a chord with you.
