Glasgow- and London-based Azamiah present the first single from their upcoming second album Heartbeat, due out on Feb 26th next year, marking their debut on Edition Records and a significant turning point in their journey.
"Cloud Nines is an expression of our connection to the natural world, whether you’re in the city or out of it," they share.
Originally penned by vocalist India Blue during a remote retreat on the Scottish Isle of Islay, "Cloud Nines" is an eclectic, slow-unfolding whirlwind of jazz, spiritual jazz and neo-soul dreaminess. India's lush vocals take their time, floating effortlessly over a groove that's slowly brewing beneath them. It almost feels like you're watching the world twist and turn from somewhere up above, dreaming on a big, fluffy cloud, far away from it all.
If you dig their sound, the upcoming album is already available to pre-order on vinyl, CD and digitally through their Bandcamp page here.
