It's time to take a look at what 2013 has offered us so far because I'm sure there will be plenty more to come. The first band I need to stress on is Rescuer. Their debut full length record With Time Comes The Confort was one of my most anticipated ones for this year.

Rescuer is a really young post-hardcore band that started its journey in Tampa Bay, Florida in 2011. In the late 2012 they were signed by Rise Records and began recording their first album. With Time Comes The Comfort was released on the 14th of January, 2013. It contains 12 songs of desperation, regret and hope. They are all fast-paced and hard hitting, but full of melody. As vocalist JP Marra states in a interview for AbsolutePunk.net that his screams are strongly influenced by bands like Envy, Pg. 99 and City of Caterpillar. While all of the aforementioned bands play typical for the late 90s screamo, Rescuer is a modern melodic hardcore band and is closer to the likes of Defeater, Modern Life is War and Life Long tragedy.

The track I love the most from With Time Comes The Confort is called "Birds of Pray". If you liked this song, give the whole album a try, it is a great debut by a very promising band.
